DOWFROST™ Heat Transfer Fluid
Overview
DOWFROST™ Heat Transfer Fluid is a formulation of 96.0 percent food grade propylene glycol plus food grade corrosion inhibitors. Solutions of this in water provide freeze protection to below -60°F (-50°C) and burst protection to below -100°F (-73°C). It is made entirely from food grade raw materials conforming to FDA CFR 21 and NSF guidelines and is acceptable for use as a heat transfer fluid where there is possibility of incidental food contact.

DOWFROST™ Heat Transfer Fluid is the only inhibited glycol made with DOW PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP, a pharmaceutical grade of monopropylene glycol with specified purity greater than 99.8%. Prolong fluid lifetime and lower the cost of ownership by using DOWFROST heat transfer fluid, made with the highest industry purity propylene glycol combined with long lasting, food safe, corrosion inhibitors.

DOWFROST™ HD Heat Transfer Fluid
Overview
DOWFROST™ HD Heat Transfer Fluid is a 94.0 percent propylene glycol formulation and a specially designed industrial corrosion inhibitor package. The fluid is dyed fluorescent yellow-green for leak detection purposes. Solutions of this in water provide freeze protection to below -60°F (-50°C) and burst protection to below -100°F (-73°C). It is widely used within the HVAC industry or wherever low toxicity environmental heat transfer fluids are needed.

DOWFROST™ HD Heat Transfer Fluid is the only inhibited glycol made with DOW PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP, a pharmaceutical grade of monopropylene glycol with specified purity greater than 99.8%. DOWCAL™ 200
Overview, Features & Benefits
DOWCAL™ 200 is a propylene glycol-based heat transfer fluid for use in a wide range of industrial, construction and infrastructure applications. Its low acute toxicity makes DOWCAL™ 200 especially suitable for applications where toxicity is a concern. Recommended operating temperature of this fluid ranges from -60°F (-50°C) to 350°F (175°C). Recommended concentration is 30% to 60%.

Overview
DOWTHERM™ SR-1 Heat Transfer Fluid provides exceptional thermal stability to meet system requirements for demanding temperature control applications such as pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, and chemical processing, HVAC or wherever low freezing water-based heat transfer fluids are needed.

DOWTHERM™ SR-1 is a formulation of 95.5 weight percent virgin ethylene glycol, never blended with other glycol streams (and not containing recycled glycol) as a means of ensuring maximum fluid lifetime. DOWTHERM™ SR-1 is specially formulated with heavy-duty industrial inhibitor packages that prevent corrosion. The inhibitors are easily maintained, long lasting and replenishable, which means intervals between fluid changeouts are extended and fluid expense is minimized. The fluid is dyed fluorescent pink for leak detection purposes. Solutions of this in water provide freeze protection to below -60°F (-50°C) and burst protection to below -100°F (-73°C).

SYLTHERM™ XLT
Overview
SYLTHERM™ XLT is a specially formulated, high-performance silicone polymer designed for use as a low-temperature, liquid-phase heat transfer fluid, offering outstanding low-temperature heat transfer and pumpability. It is highly stable, long-lasting and has low potential for fouling. Due to its thermal stability, this low-viscosity silicone fluid offers excellent heat transfer performance and long service life.

SYLTHERM™ XLT is suitable for high and low liquid phase heat transfer mediums, offering low odor and toxicity. This formulation resists degradation and typically does not need replenishment, leading to lower ongoing operational expenses.
